Santa fun!

We decided to go to a tree farm this past weekend, just for kicks. We weren't planning on getting a tree (in fact ours is already up and decorated), however, we thought it would be fun for the girls to go see Santa and do a hayride at this one tree farm. They were also giving out free candy canes and coloring books, and had a small petting zoo. A deadly combination for little kids. It was too good to pass up. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

Zoe wouldn't sit with Santa by herself. I don't blame her, Santa was a bit tired, and didn't even bother to pull up his beard. Although, he was really nice, is was apparent he had no intention of asking the girls sit on his lap and tell him what they wanted for christmas. It was more, "Hey kids, do you want a candy cane and coloring book. Okay, have a great day. Merry Christmas." There was no one in line when we got there, and Santa was taking a nap when we walked in to see him. Hee hee. I had to ask Santa if he was awake. Memories.

Hayride. Quinn didn't want to sit, just surf.

Bitter cold... it is Minnesota. Zoe with friends Addi, and Ben.

Quinn and rabbit. Couldn't pass up the photo op.

Also, just 'cause. When we were getting Quinn ready for church this morning, Quinn was looking beat, combined with the dress she reminded us of someone....

...julie andrews, "sound of music" ... not a good look for her.
